Upon entering the park, we will head towards Ponta dos Rosais, a breathtaking volcanic cape that serves as a nesting ground for bird species including the common tern and cory. Following this, we will visit the Fajã de João Dias viewpoint to soak in the spectacular coastal views.
You’ll discover the significance of São Jorge cheese and learn about its production process during our visit to the Beira Cheese Factory, where a tasting of this regional delight awaits you. Around noon, we will head to a traditional restaurant to enjoy a savoury buffet lunch.
