A photo opportunity at the Barranquilla letters and an admiration of the Pumarejo Bridge will highlight our visit.
Continuing on, we will venture to Santa Marta, affectionately referred to as the "Pearl of America". A guided tour awaits, showcasing the city's historic architecture, including the magnificent white cathedral, the oldest in South America. We will learn about the fascinating background of this sacred place and the distinguished individual interred there.
As we explore Santa Marta, our itinerary includes a visit to the Parque de los Novios, where the statue of Simón Bolívar stands proud. We will delve into the liberator's history while admiring the exterior of the nearby Gold Museum.
