Our adventure begins at 9 am outside the Church of San José in Calarcá, where we will embark on a delightful cycling experience. The route spans 11 miles (18 kilometers), meandering through the picturesque coffee region.
As we ride, we will be surrounded by stunning natural scenery and traverse mountain paths leading us to a coffee estate, providing insight into the tranquil rural life near Calarcá.
While cycling among the coffee plants, we will delve into the intriguing aspects of coffee cultivation in Colombia. Participants will discover what gives Colombian coffee its reputation, the cultivation process, and the time required for a coffee plant to produce its first crop.
