Day 1: Accra - Cape Coast - Elmina

Starting at 8 am, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Accra for a guided exploration of the capital. Our initial stop will be Independence Square, where you can admire the monumental arch that celebrates Ghana's declaration of independence in 1957.

The visit to the capital continues with a stop at Kwame Nkrumah Park, home to an impressive mausoleum dedicated to the nation's first president. Within this commemorative site, a museum showcases photographs and personal artifacts of Kwame Nkrumah.

From there, we will travel to Cape Coast, allowing some free time to indulge in the local cuisine, particularly the renowned seafood dishes characteristic of this coastal town. Following lunch, we will delve into history with a tour of Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the poignant "door of no return."

Concluding the day's explorations, we will make our way to a hotel in Elmina, where you will have the evening at your leisure to relax on the beautiful beaches.

Day 2: Elmina - Kakum National Park - Accra

Following breakfast at your Elmina hotel, we will proceed to Kakum National Park. This remarkable area, known for its lush forest landscapes, showcases the rich biodiversity of Ghana.

We will take a brief hike through this protected park, culminating in a visit to the Kakum suspension bridge, the only structure of its kind in Africa. Here, you can gaze out over the treetops, with a chance to observe monkeys and elephants amidst the vibrant wildlife.

The tour concludes with our return to Accra.
