Activity Overview
Our journey begins at Paseo Marítimo Riumar in Deltebre at the designated time. Once all participants have arrived, we will proceed to a private estate nestled within the Ebro Delta Natural Park.
Upon reaching the estate, we will equip ourselves with riding helmets and mount our horses for an hour-long exploration of the surrounding areas, which are dotted with rice paddies. Throughout the ride, we will discover various ecosystems of the Delta, including small lagoons that support local bird life and vibrant plant species.
We will take short pauses to discuss the art of rice cultivation and the influence of this agriculture on the local communities over the years. With a little luck, we may even catch a glimpse of some of the beautiful flamingos that inhabit the region!
At the conclusion of the tour, we will return to our original meeting point to wrap up our experience.
