Mount Etna Sunset Experience
If you find yourself in Catania and wish to witness an enchanting sunset, we will gather at a designated location at the specified time to embark on a journey to the renowned Mount Etna.
Throughout the excursion, several pauses will be made at various viewpoints, allowing us to uncover the most picturesque locations within the natural park. We will trek through the rich forests of Etna, explore the lava caves, and take in the majesty of the Bove Valley, a vast basin shaped by volcanic cones that are over 100,000 years old. Additionally, we will take a moment to savor a sampling of traditional Sicilian delicacies from the Mount Etna area.
Upon reaching an altitude of 2,000 meters, we will take a break at the Sapienza hut. Here, we can relax and marvel at the sunset as the sky transforms into vibrant shades of pink and orange.
After relishing the magnificent views of the sunset over Mount Etna, we will return to our vehicle for the ride back to the meeting point, concluding our adventure approximately 5 to 6 hours later.
