Our first stop will be the Casa Teran, a striking example of 18th-century neoclassical and baroque architecture commissioned by Felipe Perez de Teran. Following this, we will pass by Douglas Castle, a fascinating structure reminiscent of medieval times, complete with its moat, drawbridge, battlements, turrets, and lovely stained glass window.
Next, we arrive at the magnificent Cathedral of Aguascalientes, a late 19th-century edifice known for its remarkable twin towers. After strolling through the picturesque Plaza de la Patria, we will venture into the courtyard of the Palacio de Gobierno, characterized by 110 elegant two-story arches and a series of murals depicting the region's storied past.
As we continue our journey through Aguascalientes, we will visit the Plaza de Armas and its notable Exedra monument, and take a moment to appreciate the Church of San Marcos, established in 1655.
