At the designated time, we will convene at the Palacio de los Frijoles restaurant before embarking on a journey via vehicle to a spot close to the Calderas River. It’s time to set off!
Upon arrival at the riverbank, a guide will provide a safety briefing, outlining the essential protocols for handling the supplied equipment.
With our safety gear in place, the adventure will commence as we board our rafts and navigate through the Calderas River, facing exciting rapids, vortices, and turbulent waters with drops reaching up to 5 feet (1.5 meters).
As we embark on our 3-hour rafting journey, we will be treated to the stunning vistas that Antioquia offers. Get ready to encounter crystal-clear waters, majestic mountains, and an array of flora and fauna!
At the midway point of our rafting adventure, we will pause in a calm section of the river to enjoy a refreshing drink and snack. This is also a perfect moment to unwind and take a revitalizing swim in the river.
Our rafting will continue until we reach the bridge of the Samaná River, where a minibus will be waiting to return us to the meeting location.
After an exhilarating 4 hours, we will conclude our experience back at the Palacio de los Frijoles.
