Our journey begins with a thrilling ride on a speedboat as we navigate the crystal-clear waters along Caniçal’s coastline towards the Natural Reserve of Ponta de São Lourenço. This reserve is perched on a peninsula at the eastern tip of Madeira and is celebrated for its dramatic volcanic formations and towering cliffs.
Upon reaching the reserve, we will transition from the speedboat to kayaks. With gear in place and a brief instruction session completed, we will set off to explore the scenic beauty of Abra Bay and its mesmerizing sea caves.
This two-hour kayaking experience will provide us with the chance to admire the remarkable peninsula from unique perspectives, all while enjoying the soothing embrace of the Atlantic waves.
Once we return to shore, it's time to don our snorkeling gear for an exciting two hours spent exploring the vibrant underwater world of Ponta de São Lourenço. Expect to encounter a variety of marine life including octopuses, starfish, triggerfish, and corals in the pristine waters of Madeira.
