At the scheduled time, we will gather at a tourist estancia along the BR-267, conveniently situated near the Prata River. Are you prepared to explore the captivating underwater world of Bonito? Let's begin!
Equipped with our wetsuits, we will embark on a journey through the riverside forest until we reach the source of the Olho d'Água River. Once there, we will don our snorkels and goggles to dive into the natural pool formed by this stream.
The stunning transparent waters of the river will amaze you with their clarity, a characteristic of Bonito's currents attributed to the high limestone content and the interplay of sunlight. We'll share insights and details as we glide downstream, marveling at the diverse flora and fauna.
Our path, stretching 1.7 kilometers (1 mile), leads us to where the Prata and Olho d'Água rivers converge. You will feel the immediate shift in water temperature and witness the variations in visibility and ecosystems.
After an engaging four hours of exploration, we will conclude our adventure back at the starting location.
