Typically, these sharks measure between 8 and 9 feet (approximately 0.5 to 3 meters) in length, and they are absolutely safe for humans. During this encounter, you'll have the chance to dip your feet in the shallow waters where juvenile lemon sharks congregate. Larger sharks can be found slightly deeper, but you will still have the opportunity to observe them from a comfortable distance.
