Sightings of wildlife, captivating cultural experiences, and stunning natural landscapes await you on this journey to The Cape of Good Hope and The Bo-Kaap district, which was historically recognized as The Malay Quarter.
Description
Around the agreed time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Cape Town and embark on a trip to one of the city’s most iconic locations.
Our first stop will be Bo-Kaap, a neighborhood that once faced racial segregation and is now celebrated for its vibrant houses, becoming a key point of interest in the city. As we walk along the cobblestone roads and past notable mosques, you'll discover the rich history of Bo-Kaap.
Next, we will journey to The Cape of Good Hope, the southernmost tip of Africa. Along the way, you'll pass through charming villages and elegant estates that grace this ecologically rich region.
Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to engage in various activities, such as taking a 45-minute ferry ride to Seal Island, where seals bask on the rocks! During the winter months, you might also spot a whale.
If you prefer exploring the land, you can wander the rugged shores of The Cape of Good Hope, take a ride on The Flying Dutchman Funicular, or visit one of South Africa's oldest lighthouses. Additionally, you might hike up Table Mountain, spend time observing African penguins, or visit Pollsmoor Prison, where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated.
Finally, we will make our way back to Cape Town and conclude our tour at your hotel approximately eight hours after the initial pickup.
