Gilberto de Mello Freyre resided in this house for over 40 years, although its origins trace back to the 19th century when it was originally named Villa Santo Antonio de Apipucos.

Now transformed into a house-museum, the space houses many artifacts that once belonged to the creator of The Master and the Slaves.
