During the next 45 minutes, we will embark on a sensory exploration of the winemaking heritage of northern Portugal, indulging in 3 glasses of Port wine that exhibit a range of flavors and aromas. You will savor the Porto Dry White, complemented by cured cheese, the Porto Ruby paired with chocolate, and the Porto Tawny enjoyed with some nuts.
We will examine the differences among adry white, a Ruby, and a Tawny. The Tawny wine is produced from red grapes and undergoes aging in barrels or oak casks for several years. In contrast, Ruby wines typically age in glass bottles for a period of 1 to 3 years.
