This journey commences with a pickup from your hotel in Bogota, leading to a scenic drive of about 90 minutes towards Chicaque Natural Park.
Upon reaching your destination, you will receive vital insights about this untouched natural sanctuary, which is located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters (6,560 feet) above sea level. You will then have around five hours to freely explore the park's astonishing botanical richness.
As you navigate the park's meandering paths, immerse yourself in the vibrant tropical forests filled with various plant life, including orchids, mosses, and ferns. Keep your eyes peeled for the park's diverse avian and insect inhabitants, notably the stunning hummingbirds, toucans, and butterflies, as more than 300 bird species inhabit this area.
Your exploration will also lead you to some of Chicaque's breathtaking highlights, such as the famous Pico del Águila, one of the tallest hills within the park.
