Did you know that Dominican amber is regarded as the finest worldwide? We'll delve into its fascinating history and significance at the Puerto Plata Amber Museum, a site even featured in the Jurassic Park movie. Discover the unique qualities that make this natural treasure stand out!
Our journey continues past the fire station and along Murales y Chichiguas Street, a vibrant area where the term "Chichiguas" refers to paper kites—a true celebration of color!
Next, we will stop at Puerto Plata Cigar to learn about the vital roles of Dominican tobacco and coffee in the local economy. We will then cycle along the picturesque Malecon, where the spectacular views of the Atlantic await.
