Next, we’ll visit the Omicho Market, an essential hub for local goods since the Edo period. Here, you can explore stalls brimming with fresh fish, seafood, seasonal fruits, vegetables, and delectable sweets.
Following our market exploration, we will journey to Higashi Chaya, renowned as Japan's premier geisha district. As we wander through its picturesque streets dotted with traditional tea houses, you will feel the charm of this historical area. Our itinerary then leads us to Kanazawa Castle, erected in the 16th century by Toshiee Maeda, the founder of the Maeda clan. Within the castle grounds, you can find the Gyokusen’inmaru, a delightful Japanese garden once used by the Maeda clan for tea gatherings.
The next highlight will be the Oyama Shrine, a significant Shinto site linked to the Maeda lineage. We will then proceed to Kenrokuen Gardens, celebrated as one of Japan's top three gardens.
