On this day trip from Bangkok, we will visit Damnoen Saduak, Thailand's most famous floating market, and see the bridge on the River Kwai along with a ride on the Death Railway.
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Bangkok. After a 1.5-hour journey, we will reach the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market.
Upon arrival, we will take a 30-minute boat ride through Damnoen Saduak to see stalls selling vegetables, exotic fruit spices, and local products.
Following the market visit, we will drive to Kanchanaburi to see the bridge on the River Kwai, known from the 1957 film about events during World War II, when local prisoners built the Death Railway. Part of the journey passed over the River Kwai.
A traditional Thai lunch will be served near the bridge. Afterward, we will visit the JEATH War Museum to learn about the Death Railway's history from 1942 to 1943.
Next, we will travel to Tham Kra Sae Station for a 1.5-hour journey along the River Kwai, ending at Tha Kilen Station, where a vehicle will take us back to Bangkok.
