Upon arrival, we will uncover the intriguing history of the telescopes situated there, which were instrumental during the Apollo missions and the initial moon landing! These telescopes remain vital today, continually exploring the depths of space, and we will gain insights into their ongoing contributions to scientific discovery.
Next, our journey takes us to the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, a haven for some of Australia’s most treasured wildlife, where we will commence a guided tour. As we navigate through the reserve, the opportunity to observe kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, platypuses, vibrant parrots, and other native avian species will arise, alongside the chance to spot emus.
