At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel in Catania to commence this fascinating journey. Are you ready to delve into the stunning landscapes and rich culture of Sicily? Let’s begin!
After a comfortable ride of 1 hour and 15 minutes in a minibus, we will arrive at the Vendicari Natural Reserve. Once there, a guided exploration will reveal the area's remarkable biodiversity, featuring stunning flamingos, turtles, and a rich diversity of Mediterranean vegetation. Following the tour, you'll have some leisure time to relax and absorb the scenic beauty at your own pace. Picture yourself surrounded by breathtaking views!
Next, we’ll return to the minibus and proceed towards Marzamemi. After approximately 30 minutes, we will reach this picturesque fishing village, noted for its serene vibe and vibrantly colored houses lining the coast. Here, you will enjoy 1.5 hours to discover the area on your own. Take a leisurely stroll through the streets, explore quaint local shops, or indulge in a delicious meal at one of the neighborhood eateries.
Following our exploration, we will visit the historic Tonnara ruins in Marzamemi, formerly a tuna fishing facility, before heading to Noto. In Noto, a 1.5-hour guided tour awaits, where you will navigate through its stunning streets. Regarded as the Baroque capital of Sicily, the exquisite churches, grand palaces, and intricate balconies will leave you in awe!
As we make our way along the prominent Corso Vittorio Emanuele, we will pause to appreciate marvels such as the Cathedral San Nicolò. Did you know that Noto is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site? You will be captivated by its beauty!
