Upon arrival, we’ll board a train for an approximately one-hour journey to Haputale, situated deep within the jungle. Following this, we’ll drive for 45 minutes to reach the Bambarakanda Falls, standing tall at an impressive 263 meters (863 ft)—the highest in the nation.
After our visit, we’ll undertake a 30-minute hike towards the Lanka Falls, where you’ll have leisure time to take a revitalizing dip and soak in the tranquil environment.
Subsequently, we’ll make our way back to a local eatery, where a traditional lunch awaits, offering delightful views of the lush rice paddies surrounding the area.
Once we’ve enjoyed our meal, we’ll head back to Ella, ensuring you arrive at your hotel about 8.5 hours after your initial pickup.
