Our journey begins as we walk along the Avenida de Arequipa, making our way to the Choco Museum of Miraflores. Following this, we’ll head towards a souvenir market located within the vibrant La Tarumba de Miraflores circus.
Next, we will pause at the House of Raúl Porras Barranechea. Here, you will learn about this significant figure in Peruvian history before we proceed to the former residence of another notable personality: the House of Ricardo Palma, a celebrated novelist.
Continuing on, we'll visit Kennedy Park, famous for its street food stalls, local fairs, and, notably, its delightful cats. This spot is affectionately known as the "Park of Cats," and you'll soon discover why!
Our adventure will also take us to 7 June Park and a leisurely walk through the renowned Pasaje San Ramón, where we'll uncover its significance.
To wrap up our 2-hour journey, we'll reach the celebrated Parque del Amor, a beloved spot for couples. Here, we will encounter the stunning sculpture symbolizing love, El Beso, crafted by the acclaimed Peruvian artist Víctor Delfín. This park is enveloped by a vibrant mosaic wall inscribed with romantic verses from notable Peruvian poets.
