Your journey begins early in the morning as we gather you from your accommodation in Antalya and set out to the launch site for our hot air balloon ride above Pamukkale. Get ready for an incredible experience as we prepare to soar over the “cotton castle.”
As dawn breaks, we will unfurl the vibrant fabrics of the hot air balloon, heating the air inside before it's time to board and ascend over Pamukkale. Let’s take to the skies!
As we ascend, you’ll encounter breathtaking views of the terraced hot springs, each revealing extraordinary colors. Discover the origin of the name “cotton castle” as you absorb the insights into this World Heritage Site from your aerial perspective.
Our hour-long balloon flight will take us to Hierapolis, an ancient spa city dating back to 190 BC. After the exhilarating flight, we will land softly back on solid ground.
The next segment includes a 3-hour exploration of the hot springs at Pamukkale and Hierapolis. You will not want to miss the opportunity to bathe in the warm waters, including a special visit to Cleopatra's pool.
Once ready, we’ll delve into the ruins and temples, sharing the rich history that surrounds them. Marvel at the remarkably preserved amphitheater, capable of accommodating thousands of attendees. Additionally, we will wander through the necropolis, one of the largest in the area, adorned with tombs and sarcophagi of significant archaeological importance.
