Our first destination will be the National Museum of Ethiopia, the country's premier museum. Here, you will encounter Lucy, the most celebrated hominid fossil skeleton, dating back over 3 million years. Following our visit to the museum, we’ll make our way to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, an outstanding architectural marvel reflecting European Baroque influence, adorned with exquisite stained-glass windows. This cathedral serves as both a site of worship and a mausoleum for significant figures in Ethiopian history, including Emperor Haile Selassie.
Next, we’ll explore the Ethnological Museum, situated within the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie on the Addis Ababa University grounds.
