At the scheduled hour, we’ll start our gentle ride from CornicheBeach, the city’s splendid waterfront promenade, where we’ll bask in the beautiful vistas of the PersianGulf. Let’s begin our journey!
Spanning 23 kilometers (14.3 miles), we’ll cycle past public and familybeaches along the Corniche, observing the architecturaldiversity that characterizes Abu Dhabi. Did you know that the original ADNOCbuilding marks the dawn of the emirate’s oil industry? We will see it right along our path!
Continuing toward the Fatima Bint Mosque, a contemporary architectural wonder that departs from traditional Islamic art. After a brief pause at the tranquil Heritage Park, we’ll enjoy views of both the Abu Dhabi Theatre and the old and new Royal Palace.
Just ahead, we’ll make a stop at The Founder’s Memorial, a significant tribute to SheikhZayed. How did he successfully unify the desert tribes and establish the foundations of one of the world’s thriving nations? We will uncover the story! Continuing our ride, we will pass the MandarinOriental, formerly a palace now transformed into a luxurious hotel.
Next, we will cycle along the Crown Prince Court and delve into the city's historic core, where CulturalFoundation and Qasr Al Hosn, the original castle of Abu Dhabi, are located.
We will ultimately return to our starting point and conclude the experience after approximately 3.5 to 4 hours of cycling.
