At the designated time, we will gather at your chosen meeting point to commence this captivating journey through iconic landmarks in southern Italy. Once we are all set, we will board a minibus and begin our 1-hour drive to our first destination. Let’s set off!
Our first stop is Sorrento. Get ready to immerse yourself in this charming town that commands stunning views of the Gulf of Naples. You will have 1 hour of leisure to discover the vibrant historic core at your own pace.
Take a leisurely stroll around Piazza Tasso, explore the picturesque Chiostro di San Francesco, or make your way to the Villa Comunale. Don’t forget your camera; you’ll capture beautiful vistas of Mount Vesuvius and the surrounding bay from this vantage point.
Next, we will continue our journey towards Positano, only a 30-minute drive away. This picturesque town is arguably the most photographed location along the Amalfi Coast!
During your 1-hour visit, feel free to wander through its charming, steep pathways adorned with bougainvillea and vibrant homes. Be sure to check out Spiaggia Grande, the stunning Church of Santa Maria Assunta with its iconic tiled dome, and the local shops showcasing Mediterranean fashion and crafts. You might find yourself tempted to indulge in a bit of shopping!
Shall we proceed? Our next destination is Amalfi, a former maritime powerhouse. Here, you will enjoy 1.5 hours to explore at your leisure. Admire the magnificent Amalfi Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Andrew, nestled in the bustling Piazza del Duomo. Roam through the historic streets or unwind by the coast. If you prefer, you can also take a refreshing swim at the beach, as we will supply towels for your seaside enjoyment.
As we make our way back to Naples, there will be a limoncello raffle, with a lucky winner receiving a bottle of this traditional liqueur. To round off the day, upon our return to the Campania capital, enjoy a tasting session featuring local pizza and tiramisu.
