Your journey at the stunning Basilica of Luján will commence in the crypt. Here, you will encounter over70 Marian representations from various cultures. As we navigate this underground area, intriguing narratives about faith and the veneration of Our Lady of Luján, the country's patron saint, will be shared.
Subsequently, a visit to the Historical Museum of the Basilica awaits, where you can admire invaluable artifacts including the original crown of Our Lady of Luján, which adorned the Papal Coronation of 1887, and the esteemed Golden Rose, bestowed by Pope Saint John Paul II. Following this enlightening exploration of the site’s spiritual and cultural context, we will board a vehicle towards 1516 restaurant for an à la carte lunch.
After refreshing, our adventure resumes as we head back to the basilica to ascend its towers. At the pinnacle, the upper gallery provides a rare perspective of the church. Noteworthy for its neogothic architecture, this building features elegant columns, stained glass panels, and remarkable design details.
Our visit will take us to the A Giorno gallery, elevated at 32 meters (105 feet), which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city of Luján. Additionally, we will observe the main organ and its impressive 3800 tubes. To conclude this segment of the tour, we will step outside onto the basilica's roof to enjoy the views from this vantage point.

Looking to reach the highest point of the Basilica of Luján? If heights do not faze you, then this tour option is perfect! This experience begins similarly to the previous itinerary.
After lunch, however, we will ascend to a height of 65 meters (213 feet). Upon reaching the top, you will embark on the famous 360º Viewpoint circuit, an exclusive exploration of the hidden areas at the building's summit. This incorporates a visit to the A Giorno gallery and access to the bell tower, which houses 20 bells cast from melted war cannons. Here, we will share its history while examining the original clockwork machinery.
Your adventure will proceed to the highest viewpoint, giving this journey its name: the 360º. From this location, the views of the city of Luján are truly stunning. As a delightful end to your visit, enjoy some regional sweets paired with herbal teas.
In the final part of the excursion, we will descend to the Pilgrim's Rest, home to the original cross of the Basilica of Luján, which was lost in 2000 during severe storms. Our last stop will be the cloister, a peaceful inner courtyard featuring a 6-meter (19.6-foot) cross.
