Experience the stunning volcanic scenery on a full-day exploration of Lanzarote, which includes visits to Timanfaya National Park and the captivating Jameos del Agua.
Timanfaya & Jameos del Agua Experience
Our journey begins with a hotel pickup, after which we will set out to explore the western section of the island.
Our first destination is El Golfo, where we will take a brief stop of about 15 minutes. Here, we'll gaze at the stunning Charco de los Clicos, also known as "The Green Lake", whose striking hue is due to algae and sulfur present in the water. Pedro Almodóvar selected this picturesque location to film a pivotal scene in "Los Abrazos Rotos" (Broken Embraces), featuring Penélope Cruz.
Next, we will proceed to Timanfaya National Park, where guests have the opportunity to enjoy an optional 30-minute camel ride, available for an additional fee on the day of the trip. Once inside the park, we’ll embark on the Volcanoes Route to discover its eerie, almost otherworldly landscape adorned with colossal craters. At Islote de Hilario, we’ll marvel at nature’s might during the geothermal demonstrations, which will take about 15 minutes.
After our time in the park, we’ll head to Mancha Blanca, where we’ll pause for lunch for around 1 hour, giving you the opportunity to dine at a traditional Canarian restaurant. Located here is the Church of Los Dolores, which is dedicated to the patron saint of Lanzarote.
Following lunch, we will visit one of the impressive works by renowned architect and artist César Manrique. A visit to Jameos del Agua will take about 55 minutes. This venue, crafted from a volcanic tunnel, serves multiple functions as an auditorium, restaurant, and pool. The natural surroundings include a lake that is home to the unique blind crabs.
After exploring the Jameos del Agua, we’ll make our way back to the hotel areas, concluding this full-day adventure approximately 8 to 10 hours after the initial pickup.

- Puerto Calero: pickup at 9:20 am; arrival around 3:15 pm to 5:10 pm, depending on the chosen option.
- Playa Blanca: pickup between 8:20 am and 9:30 am; arrival around 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm, depending on the chosen option.
