Explore the enchanting island of Bohol, situated in the vibrant Philippines. Immerse yourself in the beauty of its dense forests, marvel at the extraordinary Chocolate Hills, and experience the charm of the Loboc River on this expertly guided journey.
Tour Overview
At the agreed-upon time, we will meet at your selected pickup location to commence our adventure around this remarkable island, revered as one of the largest and most stunning in the Philippines. Prepare to be captivated by breathtaking vistas throughout our excursion.
Our first stop is the Sandugo Monument, a commemorative site symbolizing the alliance between Spanish explorer Miguel López de Legazpi and local chief Datu Sikatuna, embodying the friendship forged between their nations. Next, we will visit the Baclayon Church, a significant historical site recognized as one of the region’s oldest churches.
Following this enlightening visit, we will proceed to the Tarsier Conservation Centre, the home of the smallest primate in the world. Their fascinating features are bound to impress you! Next, we’ll make our way to the banks of the Loboc River for a relaxing boat excursion, complemented by a sumptuous buffet lunch.
As we approach the iconic Chocolate Hills, we’ll traverse through the Bohol forest, allowing us to witness the lush surroundings up close. Notably, this forest is a man-made marvel, populated with numerous mahogany trees.
Your visit culminates with the awe-inspiring Chocolate Hills, a unique geological formation created over centuries through the buildup of coral and algae. During the dry season, these hills take on a brown hue, resembling an endless array of chocolate treats.
At the conclusion of our journey, we will return you to the initial meeting point, totaling around 8 hours of exploration.
