The highlight of the site is undoubtedly the Kukulcán pyramid, an architectural marvel where the first rays of sunlight create a breathtaking view of this monumental structure, often referred to as 'the castle'. Once a place of mystical significance, the tour will explore the pyramid's profound connection to Mayan astronomy and its intriguing history.
Adjacent to the pyramid lies the Mayan 'ball court', a structure that reflected the zeal with which the ancient indigenous game was played: this sacred sport known as the Mesoamerican ballgame held immense cultural importance.
