Uncover the wonders of Cagliari, featuring the stunning Cathedral of Santa Maria, the historic city walls, and the impressive archaeological museum on this engaging guided tour.

Cagliari Guided Tour

We will gather at your selected time at Largo Carlo Felice. This marks the beginning of our immersive guided exploration of the city’s historic center, particularly the Castello district.

Established in the 13th century, this area is enclosed by the medieval city walls and features notable sites such as the Bastion of Santa Caterina and the Tower of the Elephant. Keep your eyes peeled for the animal that lends its name to this landmark.

As we wander through Cagliari's cobbled streets, the rich history of the city will come to light. Our journey will lead us to Piazza Carlo Alberto, which is home to the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria, the foremost religious structure in the capital. While its origins date back to the 13th century and reflect Romanesque architectural style, the main façade was renovated in the early 20th century.

Following our 2-hour tour, we will head to one of the scenic viewpoints in the city center where you can admire breathtaking views of the coastline and the surrounding landscape. Being the highest district in Cagliari, Castello offers exquisite vistas.
